As of about an hour ago, I have no TV, VCR/DVD or stereo. There was a loud thunderclap (only warning I got it was actually raining, as I have no windows in my bedroom) and the lights didn't flicker or go off, but three out of my four most expensive appliances died at once. (Well, the refrigerator isn't mine, and it is also still working.)
